| Back in 1985, I had an experience which
| |
| | round pattern of a scene with ducks in it
|
| really was a set back for me. It was at a
| |
| | for his first project. He enjoyed the
|
| time when a lot of pressure was building.
| |
| | process of selecting the glass and really
|
| I wasn't sure which direction I wanted my
| |
| | understood the concept of cutting out his
|
| stained glass art to go. We had
| |
| | pattern pieces and tracing them out on
|
| experienced a house fire and I needed to
| |
| | glass. Then he began to cut his
|
| concentrate on rebuilding. I had sold the
| |
| | glass. Now, we had already taught him how
|
| video rental part of our business, which
| |
| | to cut glass before he laid a cutter on
|
| was also the part that brought in income
| |
| | glass which he had purchased and he had
|
| on a consistent basis. But I still loved
| |
| | done okay, but as he began to cut his
|
| stained glass, it was just that the shine
| |
| | pieces out, he varied from the
|
| was starting to wear off, it wasn't as
| |
| | instructions we had given him. I told
|
| fun anymore.Someone once told me that
| |
| | Milo, he should push the cutter away from
|
| anything you do to earn your living will
| |
| | himself so he could see where the wheel
|
| eventually become a job. And I guess that
| |
| | on the cutter was going, but Milo felt is
|
| was happening to me, my art was becoming
| |
| | was easier to pull it towards himself.
|
| my job and I spent more time trying to
| |
| | Then, I had taught Milo to tap under the
|
| make money, than trying to make good
| |
| | glass to get the score to run so that he
|
| art.But it was still fun, there was
| |
| | could tap directly under the score and
|
| always a renewal of excitement when we
| |
| | get a nice, clean break. Milo figured it
|
| began to teach a new series of classes
| |
| | was easier to turn the glass upside down
|
| because the students would bring their
| |
| | and lay it on the table and tap it from
|
| enthusiasm with them and Jeanne and I
| |
| | that side. Consequently, his tapping was
|
| would be reminded all over again about
| |
| | often not directly under the place scored
|
| what a great and fantastic art form
| |
| | and his glass often broke in the wrong
|
| stained glass construction was. Then Milo

| |
| | skill, but Milo wouldn't listen. As hard

| |
| | as we tried, Milo was going to do it his
|
| pair of bib overalls. He wore no
| |
| | own way. I said push, he pulled, I said
|
| additional shirt over his quite large
| |
| | tap from the bottom, he tapped from the
|
| frame and he was barefoot. He looked a
| |
| | top. When he broke a large piece of glass
|
| little like Santa Claus on vacation with
| |
| | which would be the sky in the window, I
|
| his white flowing beard and round tummy.
| |
| | offered to give him a new piece of glass.
|
| He began to ask us about stained glass
| |
| | But of course, Milo refused, instead he
|
| and he caught the excitement of the
| |
| | just jovially said, "No, that will just
|
| vision of being able to create his own
| |
| | be another lead line." And so his project
|
| work of art. So we invited him to join
| |
| | went, one badly broken and shaped piece
|
| with us during our next class and he
| |
| | after another, with "new lead lines"
|
| came. We were happy to have him, but we
| |
| | springing up whenever a mistake was
|
| cautioned that you have to wear shoes in
| |
| | made.Milo was having so much fun, he

| a stained glass shop and that a shirt was
| |
| | decided to take his project home and foil
|
| also a good idea.Milo showed up at the
| |
| | and solder it there. At that point, I

| appointed hour, full of enthusiasm. He
| |
| | figured it couldn't hurt, he didn't
|
| brought his wife along, just to watch.
| |
| | listen to a word of advice anyone gave in
|
| That was a common occurrence in Missouri,
| |

|
| a way to get good value from your dollar
